The ICF-VR application has been developed for elderly people who are non-self-sufficient or have reduced self-sufficiency, admitted to social-health or social-care institutions, and for people with disabilities admitted to nursing homes (RSA). The ICF-VR tools allow monitoring the quality of life according to a model that identifies its five constitutive dimensions, in order to plan targeted care and educational interventions for improvement based on an evidence-based approach. Completing the questionnaire, with the involvement of the person and their caregivers, allows the production of a Functioning Profile and the comparison of the effectiveness of interventions over time. The questionnaires and additional resources are available on the websites: www.icf-anziani.it and www.icf-adat.it
The reference manual for this application is: The quality of life in nursing homes and retirement homes. For articles, consult the publications page.
